There will be a work day at San Felasco this
Saturday!
For anyone wishing to meet at the
HQ (directions below) to help get equipment organized, please be there no
later than 8:30 am.
If it is easier or closer for you to go to the
bike trailhead (off 441 just south of Alachua,) or if you need to sleep in an
extra 30 minutes!), be there promply at 9 am. We will
then coordinate both work crews.
The workday hours are from 9 am to noon, and
LUNCH WILL BE SERVED AT NOON!
The trails need a lot of trimming and cutting,
and we're also beginning our trail grooming for the Tour de Felasco in
January. We're also working on our new pavilion. Lots to do!
If you can spare a couple hours of your time, it would be greatly
appreciated!
If you have any hand tools, chain saws, etc
please bring them. Don't forget your safety glasses and long pants if you
plan to operate a saw. Otherwise, just bring yourself - there are plenty
of tools to go around. Don't forget bug spray, sunscreen and
water!
Call or email if you have any questions or need
further details - and thanks in advance for your willingness to
volunteer!
