On Saturday, October 29 we will meet at 10am for a
10:15am start (note the late start time, due to a forecast of a chilly morning
low) at the Chevron station at NW 43rd St. and Millhopper for a 48
mile roundtrip up to High Springs via Millhopper (the trip scheduled for
last week that was partly rained out). Speed will be 16 mph.
On Sunday we will meet at 9am for a
9:15am start from downtown Micanopy for a 40 mile roundtrip to
Archer via 234/329 and 320, with a detour to stop at the zebra farm. If you want
to reduce the length, an option will exist to cut the return trip short and
reduce the distance to 35 miles by skipping the zebra farm. Speed will be 16
mph.
Note that Sunday is no longer daylight savings
time-- the start time of 9:15am will be almost three hours after sunrise,
not two hours.
