We have waited a long time for the opening of the Downtown Connector, and here is your invitation to a celebration of the official opening of this new bicycle facility at 1:30 PM on Tuesday 29 November at Boulware Springs.   Let's have a big crowd of GCC cyclists to demonstrate our appreciation to our elected officials.

Please RSVP so the nice folks at the City will know how much to provide in the way of refreshments.

The Gainesville-Hawthorne Rail Trail connection to downtown Gainesville or the "Downtown Connector" is complete.  Please join City of Gainesville Mayor Pegeen Hanrahan, the City Commission, and City Staff to celebrate the grand opening of the Downtown Connector at a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
