I'm planning a Glider type ride about 75 miles
Saturday morning, leaving Gainesville soon after 7:00 a.m., arriving at
O'Leno State Park around noon for the Picnic, then traveling about 25-28 miles
home after the picnic. Speed will be between 17-19 mph. Anyone
interested?
I plan on arriving at Hunter's Crossing Chevron
around 7:00 am for a 7:15 departure. Civil twilight begins at 6:56 am and
sunrise is at 7:21 am so we should have plenty of sunlight. It's supposed
to be around 48 degrees at 7:00 am warming up to about 67 degrees by noon
(estimated arrival time at O'Leno) and 71 by 3:00 p.m. (estimated finish
time).
I plan on taking a new route. Let me know
what you think...

These distances are NOT accurate, they are only
approximations taken off a measuring line from a map on the
Internet.
After Lunch (and a little play), travel down US 41 to CR 232 (or even
94th if you're feeling strong) to CR 241 to Millhopper to Chevron (about 28
miles or so)
Any takers...? Let me know what you
think...
So far we will have three riders. I'll bring
a few extra queue sheets for non-RSVPers.
