The weather for this Sunday looks great...if you're
an Eskimo. Low 30s in the morning and a high of 55 with a NW wind at 10
mph.
Well, I'm not quite sure why I'm doing this ride,
but I am (no thanks to Ellen, Eric, Ben-the Arrogant Bastard, and James).
I'm not sure if any of you are crazy...I mean stupid enough to do a century
in the freezing cold blustery weather, but if you are, it looks as if I'm
driving up there (White Springs, FL) in my van. It's about an hour and 10
minute drive from Gainesville. The ride starts at 8:00 a.m., so I'll be
leaving Gainesville at 6:00 a.m. and in the low 30's... What am I
thinking...
I have room for 1 more rider and their bike (stored
in the van), possibly two more if the 2nd doesn't mind their bike on a rear
mounted bike rack. Let me know if you're interested in a
ride.
