Saturday March 11, Strays will ride 30 - 34 miles starting from Traxler.
This ride will include the upper middle of the Santa Fe Century, with
Worthington Springs at about the mid point. We may also do a visit to Kelly's
farm.
Arrive at 9:15 am for a 9:30
start.
Speeds 6 - 28 mph, depending on terrain. Average
speed has typically been 13 mph in recent times. This
ride is mostly flat, but there are a few grades and a couple of
hills.
There will be a convenience store / rest room stop at the
mid point.
No pacelines, no racing, no wheel sucking, just a fun social ride.
Post ride the hungry will head for a restaurant, to be determined by
consensus. Probably Conestoga.
Helmets are REQUIRED on all Strays rides, mirrors
recommended, headphones forbidden.

To get to Traxler from Gainesville. Go north on 441 thru
Alachua to I75. Take I75 north to the intersection of 236. This will be
exit 404 from the interstate. The distance from the intersection of 441 and I75
to Traxler is just a little over 5 miles. Park in the area between the Chevron
Station and the Florida souvenir shop. Other areas may get you in
trouble.
