All bad things come in 3's. Huan had an unfortunate single bike
accident today in Raiford during our Century ( 90 miles ) ride this morning. (
his 3rd accident , 2 of them bike related , in 6 weeks). He fell and broke his
left arm. He was taken to NFRMC in Gainesville, where he had surgery this
afternoon. I went to see him at the hospital , but he was pretty
groggy from the morphine. He was still in visible pain.I talked to him
tonight and he told me the surgery went OK. He will be in the hospital until at
least tomorrow evening ( Sunday evening).
Thank you Rodrigo for staying behind and taking care of his bike. A
big thank you also to your wife Gabby for driving out to Raiford to come to pick
up Huan's bike. That is worth at least one Belgian beer. Sorry you had to peddle
back to town by yourself.
