Saturday October 14, Strays will ride
about 45 miles from Hague into the LaCrosse, Brooker,
Santa Fe and Worthington Springs areas. This is a distance prep ride for the
upcoming Gainesville Cycling Festival weekend.
Meet at DeSoto Park in Hague at 8:15 am for an
8:30 departure.
Ride speed range 5 - 36 mph, varying with
terrain.
Average speed in recent times has typically
been approaching 14 mph,
This ride is mostly flat, but has a hill or two.
There will be a convenience store or rest room opportunity
about every 10 - 15 miles.
No pace lines, no wheel sucking, no racing, just a fun social ride.
Helmets are REQUIRED on all Strays rides,
mirrors recommended, headphones
forbidden.
Post ride the hungry will head to a local restaurant for lunch,
probably Conestoga.

To get to Hague from Gainesville:
From the intersection of 441 and NW 43rd st. go north (left) on 441 for 2
miles. De Soto park will be on the right just before the convenience store. Park
wherever you like.
