Well...it is that time... Hawaii Ironman is finally almost here and the training is complete. Please pray for great weather and safety for all the athletes. You can follow me on October 21st, on www.ironmanlive.com starting at 1pm EST. I will finish the event around 3am EST, so if you can't sleep, just get on the web and see me finish via live video! You can click on me by name throughout the day and see where i am in the race by the following check points: at the end of the swim (2.4 miles), halfway through the bike, at the end of the bike (112 miles), and halfway through the run and at the finish (26.2 miles). It is really cool. Plus, you should be able to click on my live video i will record during the week before the race at an expo booth. I think i get to say something for 1 minute or so. Just pray for the three CW's... Calm Waters, Calm Winds, and Cool Weather ![]() or the strength to deal with the elements if it is going to be tough like most years in the past. I have been looking foward to this day for a long time and it has been a huge committment. Thanks to all of you who have uplifted me in so many ways and supported me in my training (esp. GCC) and other ways... too many to name, but you all know who you are.. and thanks to my great family (who will be there cheering me on, and who let me train for hours and hours), Lavonne (my Ironman training buddy), and my work, for putting up with my moodiness, my training, and my fatigue (that couch is so nice in my office ![]() ).
