Hooray for Roger , Gary and all the volunteers who worked so hard on the Festival. The Festival was a great sucess, and riders from all over the state were impressed by the excellent food and preparation that GCC did for this event. We have earned a big reputation.
One funny story:
I was driving as the sweep Sag on the southern part of the Horse Farm route. I encountered a rider who was many miles behind everyone else. I was concerned that she might not finish before dark, so I asked her, "Are you doing the 100 mile route?"
She replied, "Oh no, I did the 25 mile route this morning, and I liked it so much I'm doing it again."
