GCCMail: Strays ride GHT and to Micanopy Sunday Nov 19, 10 am

On Sunday November 19, Strays will ride about 30 miles on the Gainesville Hawthorne Trail and down to Micanopy and back.

 

Arrive at Boulware Springs dirt lot at 10 am to depart at 10:15 am.

 

Speeds 5 - 36 mph, depending on terrain. Average speed has typically been 13 - 14 mph in recent times.

 

There will be convenience store / rest room stop at the midpoint in the ride.

 

Post ride the hungry may head to a local restaurant for lunch.

 

No pacelines, no racing, no wheel sucking, just a fun social ride.

 

Helmets are REQUIRED on all Strays rides, mirrors recommended, headphones forbidden.
