One of the more important positions on the GCC Board of
Directors is the Treasurer.
This person
·
keeps the club check book and financial records
·
provides a statement to the Board each month
·
pays bills
·
computes and pays sales taxes to the State of Florida
·
files our Federal Income Tax return
The most intensive period of activity is during the fall at
the time of the Gainesville Cycling Festival, but there is some activity year
round.
