GCCMail: EZ Riders On The Hawthorne Trail Saturday 21 July
Dear Friends:
We will ride the GHT this Saturday 21 July, taking a look at recent
pavement repairs, and at needed work on the bridge over Lochloosa
Creek. We will meet at the parking lot at the intersection of the Trail
and CR 234 (Rochelle Road to locals), checking out the new landscaping.
Plan for an 8:00 AM departure, going first to Boulware Springs, and then
back and on to Hawthorne (if it ain't too hot). Lunch after at
Satchel's (if we can get in) or Sonny's. Bring bug juice for the
thriving ticks, sunscreen, water, etc.
The easiest way to get to the Rochelle Road parking lot is to go East on
Hawthorne Road (SR 20), and Right on CR 2082. The parking lot is on
your Right when you get to CR 234. If you miss 2082, turn Right on 234
at Tim's Fast Nickel.
