To: Those planning to attend the Pinellas Trail ride planned
for next Saturday, January 17th,
According to the Gainesville Sun next
Saturday is going to be the coldest day of the year. They are calling for lows
in the morning down in the 20’s however The Weather Channel is calling
for it to be in the low 30’s. Either way, it’s going to be COLD!!
Looking forward the cold temps should be leaving here early to mid part of the
week following the 17th. I think we should postpone the Pinellas
Trail ride until Saturday, January 24th.
I hope that isn’t too much of an inconvenience to those that planned to
do it on the 17th. Why freeze and be uncomfortable all day when the
weather will most likely be great the following weekend.
I’m thinking that
for the usual HighBee ride on Saturday, January 17th that I am going
to post a ride starting around noon, to take advantage of the warmest part of
the day when it gets up into the low to mid 50’s. I’ll watch the
weather over the next few days and post a ride accordingly for the 17th.
