GCCMail: EZ Riders Weekday Ride this Wednesday 10 June

Dear Friends:

The EZ Riders will do a short morning ride on the Gainesville-Hawthorne 
Trail on Wednesday 10 June, leaving Witness Tree Junction Trailhead at 
8:00 AM.  Bring water, sunscreen, bug juice, whatever.  We will ride at 
a majestic pace Eastward to Hawthorne inspecting Trail conditions as we 
swan down the Trail.  Lunch after somewhere such as Satchel's or Louis'.
Find Witness Tree Junction by going East on Hawthorne Road (SR 20) out 
of town, and just after the speed limit goes up to 65 mph turn Right 
onto CR 2082.  Follow for about 2 miles or so, observing the Trail to 
your Right, and Witness Tree Junction Trailhead is on your Right just 
before 2082 intersects with CR 234 (where the Trail crosses 234).  
Plenty of parking.  If you miss 2082, turn Right onto 234 at Tim's Fast 
Nickel, and go South to find the 2082 intersection and the Trailhead.
Suitable for beginners and children.  We leave no one behind.  Call with 
questions.  Watch the weather, because we are in an unsettled pattern, 
with lots of small t-cells moving off the Gulf.  El Niño onset is 
believed to be within the next 90 days, whatever that is worth.
