TFAH Issues “Vision for a Healthier America

Interested Groups Can Still Sign On

The Trust for America’s Health (TFAH), in partnership with dozens of other national public health organization, has launched a Vision for a Healthier America – a collaborative effort to make wellness and disease prevention national priorities, and to ensure that these issues are identified as essential components of any national debate on health care.

The platform was first distributed earlier this month at a Healthier America Summit held in Washington, DC, following a brief sign-on period for participants in the consensus-building process.  The Vision statement reflects, among other things, a common desire of signatory organizations that “prevention must drive our nation’s health strategy.”

If your organization is not a signatory to the Vision statement, and you wish to become one, contact Rich Hamburg at rhamburg@xxxxxxxx to act now.
