Please join us for "Fit and Healthy Make the Mind Wealthy: Why U.S. Education Policy Should Promote Physical Activity and How to Make it Happen in the 110th Congress".
 
Hosted by the Honorable Tom Harkin and including special guest Alana Beard of the Washington Mystics, the briefing will feature Dr. Darla Castelli from the University of Illinois who will discuss the latest research on physical fitness and the brain.  Additional experts will then discuss the current physical and health education landscape and opportunities for increasing physical fitness via education policy.
 
This will be a widely-attended event and light refreshments will be served.
