Except I have waaay too many archived yahoo emails, contacts who know my yahoo ID, etc, and it's only an issue here. You may not like yahoo, but they're no more shit that anyone else. Besides, you can expect other  providers to start playing the same games, and then where does that leave anyone following your piss-poor advice?

I started with Hotmail. They got bought by MS who then wrecked it. I then moved to Yahoo and it rapidly went the same way. In Between I tried a few private emails but they were very poor quality so then I got a Gmail invite and have been there ever since with no problems. I am very happy with the service. (I know others hate Google, no need to post it.)
