There are good arguments for and against making them public and I think
this is going to be a difficult one to resolve.

Personally, I would prefer them to be public, so that I could use them
as a resource for my players, most of whom aren't on the list and don't
really want to join - but it's not a major thing either way for me and I
would not object if they were private.
