For one thing, google were caught acquiring data from people's wifi, without
the knowledge or consent of those people, whilst they were driving around
for their streetview app.  $DEITY knows what other shenanigans they got
(perhaps continue to get) up to, that we don't know about.

google's morality is questionable, at best.
