actually, it coccurs to me that much of civilization consists of high
value resources for nanomachines run amok.

Plastics may not have much in the way of neded materoisals, but they
make an excellent energuy source. React all that carbon and hydrogen
with oxygen for power.

Various metals are either useful or can be reacted with oxygen to
extract energy.

That pretty much leaves ceramic, glass, concrete, rock and stone as
being "mostly" untouched. Even they'd get attacked in they contained
needed elements that can't be gotten some easier way.
