I know that there's a routine with GAL that allows one to search for a
world by name; there's also an addon that allows you to "filter" a
subsector, passing through some stats and changing (to fixed, not
calculated, values) or blocking others.

I need something a little different: I want to search for worlds that
meet specified criteria in the UWP, e.g., all worlds that have UWP

xxxxxx@@@xxxxxx@@-7

where "@" means "I don't actually give a rat's ass what this is".

I'm fairly sure I can write this for diddling a subsector; is there
anyone around who can provide pointers for doing it to an entire galaxy?

Alternatively, does TravellerMap have facilities for doing this? If so,
pointers to appropriate information?
