My experience has been that folks either like him a whole lot or they don't like him at all.

I was on the negative side solely 'cuz of the collapse of SPI when TSR called in their loan.

Since EGG was the 'face' of TSR is was natural that the SPI 'grognards' would put the blame on him.

Over the years though, I've read articles where EGG, along w/ Redmond Simonsen & Jim Dunnigan from SPI have given their individual explanations of what happened, &, naturally, it turned out to be a somewhat more complicated saga.
