You know, that sounds familiar. I should dig it up and see.

I could see analogous situations in the TU: Imperial units stuck on invaded systems during the FFW, for example, or during Hard Times; trying to get parts and consumables for their equipment.

They’d understand PDQ why the 1st Imperium used the same main infantry weapons and vehicles for a few thousand years :-)

“Sarge I found the parts for our rifles and the modulator for the broke-down G-Carrier!”
“Great! where?”
“The Museum of Ancient History!”
