My issue with cutter modules is ... how'd they get there?
I guess the Service would contract either merchants or the IN to
transport them, or use an X-boat tender that's on it's way someplace
else.

I've been playing with the T5 rules, and thinking about adding
grapples to the Type-S. With a bubble J-Drive, they have the jump
volume to fit up to 49 dtons of additional stuffs and still making J2.
A grapple will handle 35 tons of external pod... so a 30 ton cutter
module with 3 tons of "streamlining fairings" would work

Or it's the ship of the "retired" Scout contracted to be an adviser.
