No, that's not jump shadow. That's just being inside the star's 100
diameter limit.

Jump shadow is when you have to spend extra time moving not merely to
the 100 diameter limit, but to a place where the planet (or star's)
"100 diameter limit" *sphere* is not between you and where you want
to jump to.

As an example, eartjh is outside Sol's 100 diameter limit. But if you
want to jump to someplace that's on the other side of the sun *and*
in the rather wide "cone" subtended by Sol's 100 diameter limit, then
you are going to have to spend a lot of time bossting "sideways"
until ther destination is no longer *behins* that 100 diameter sphere
centered on SOl.

If you don't and try to jump, you'll pop out of jump a week later at
whatever part of Sol's 100 diameter limit your course crossed.

Remember, the rules say you pop out of jump when you encounter a
body's 100 diameter limit even if you were aiming for inside (or in
this case "past") it.

Doesn't say it has to be the 100 diamter limit of the body you were
aiming for.

*That* is jump shadow.
