Solicitation: J3 Merchants Freelance Traveller 10 Nov 2016 00:32 UTC
This design is to be a companion piece to an adventure I'm putting together. The design will be for a small fleet owned by an interface line operating between the Imperium in Old Expanses, and Ral Ranta in the Hinterworlds. Requirements: Hull rate 600-1000t, J3, M1 or M2, power and supplies for 60 days instead of the normal 30, exclusive of Jump. The ship should be lightly armed, enough to discourage a single corsair, but probably not two operating in concert (they need the armament because they also carry mail). Two designs are of interest: an all-cargo (no passengers) design, and a mixed-use design. System: Classic-compatible, including Cepheus Engine. (See the Submission Guidelines, inside back cover of the Nov/Dec 2016 issue, for how we define 'Classic-compatible'.) Deck plans would be nice, but not required. Please tell more about the ship than just the stat sheet. The one I like best gets used for the adventures; other good ones will be saved and used for future Shipyard articles. This is intended to appear in the January/February 2017 issue of Freelance Traveller, so please send it to xxxxxx@freelancetraveller.com or xxxxxx@freelancetraveller.com or xxxxxx@gmail.com before December 1, 2016. -- Jeff Zeitlin, Editor Freelance Traveller The Electronic Fan-Supported Traveller® Fanzine and Resource xxxxxx@freelancetraveller.com http://www.freelancetraveller.com http://freelancetraveller.downport.com/ ®Traveller is a registered trademark of Far Future Enterprises, 1977-2014.
