Richard,

So sorry that you haven't been able to see it yet. I was incredibly
lucky to get a chance again this morning through a narrow clear slot. It
was a really impressive sight in binoculars as it rose and was easy
naked eye. We haven't seen a comet like this in the UK sincce C/2006 P1
in January 2007. The Moon isn't really a problem since the dawn sky is
so bright anyway.

I hope you get a chance to see it soon. It is definitely worth setting
the alarm and losing a bit of sleep.

I put together this timelapse of it rising this morning:
