Alex,

Previous studies of the long term evolution of the orbit of 29P have not
considered non-gravitational forces since it is such a massive object,
see for instance:

We could make a very rough estimate of the delta-V of a large event if
Richard can give us an estimate of the total momentum of the ejected
material. For the mass we assume that the radius is 20km and the density
is 1. We'll probably be able to get within a couple of orders of
magnitude so that would show whether this might be significant or not.
