A team at the University of Reading is providing us with predictions of
ion tail turbulence and possible Disconnection Events (DEs) based on
their solar wind model.

The first prediction is for turbulence in 2P/Encke's tail this coming
week. The tail of 2P is currently very faint so you will need dark skies
and fast optics to image it but any images obtained in the coming week
which show the ion tail should be submitted as soon as possible.
