This award will cover travel costs and incidentals up to $500 to attend the Training Workshop. We encourage all attendees to also come to our annual Symposium (October 15–18, 2019). Awardees can register at a reduced rate of $195. To learn more about the training workshop and Symposium, visit https://www.cal-ipc.org/resources/symposium/.

Entry-level to mid-level professionals from underrepresented backgrounds in the conservation and land management community that do not have financial support from their employer to attend are encouraged to apply. Applicants should have a strong desire and drive to grow as conservation professionals and a demonstrated need for this training to support organizational goals in invasive plant management.

Cal-IPC values the perspectives and experiences of underrepresented California conservation professionals and seeks to build organizational capacity and support individual professional growth through this training. Click here to find out more.
