The Fish and Wildlife Scientific Aid will assist in the collection and analysis of field samples of aquatic vegetation and water quality parameters in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta and Suisuin Marsh. This position assists Environmental Scientists in conducting monitoring and surveys for habitat, wildlife, and vegetation in compliance with environmental permits. Perform a variety of technical and scientific office and field work related to aquatic invasive plant management. Incumbent is expected to maintain regular, consistent, and predictable attendance; exercise good judgment; and to follow through on commitments when completing work assignments.
