FYI - please pass along to kids and schools!

The California Invasive Species Action Week Youth Art Contest is accepting entries! This year’s theme is “Be a Habitat Hero” and the deadline is May 1. Kids in grades 2-12 can choose any invasive species as the subject of their artwork. This is a great at-home activity for kids – in fact I received an inquiry from a teacher just this morning. Entries can be mailed or emailed.

Help us publicize the art contest!

  1. Forward CDFW’s press release to other email lists. Asked your agency’s communication office to share it. https://cdfgnews.wordpress.com/2020/03/13/youth-art-contest-celebrates-habitat-heroes/
  2. CDFW will do a social media blast soon – share our posts!
  3. Contact your children’s teachers and suggest it as an activity. Ask them to spread the word in their district.

Thanks for your help.
