Good Evening Wonderful Ecology folks,

I want to share an Internship Opportunity.  Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District is hiring a (paid) intern to assist Natural Resources staff inventory and monitor natural areas within the Santa Cruz Region.  The focus is on vegetation with some wildlife and earth science as well. Project will include biological assessments at invasive species and their treatment sites, reviewing revegetation and mitigation sites, while providing assistance with the multi-agency vegetation mapping project in Santa Clara and Santa Cruz counties, and informational gathering of the creation of a District-wife rare plant monitoring program.  Please feel free to share  this announcement with anyone you thing would bring not only their smarts and a great attitude, but also their passion for the San Francisco Bay Area Region.  All applicates must either of graduated within 1 year or are still in school.  Please see the job listing below.
