Davis Sept. 15 co-sponsored by the Delta Stewardship Council Delta Science Program, the Delta Conservancy, and U.C. Davis. Invasive aquatic plants in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta impact public health, the environment, and economics through effects on recreation, the ecosystem as a whole, native species, the shipping industry, and water operations to meet agricultural, municipal, and industrial demands.
