Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks are recruiting an ecologist to serve as the Program Manager for Ecological Restoration and Invasive Plant Management. The incumbent will serve as the Parks' senior and principal advisor on the development and management of a complex, science-based ecological restoration and invasive plant management program. Duties of the position will focus on using scientifically sound expertise in invasive plants, botany, and plant/forest ecology in order to understand the impacts of human use, climate change, and other internal/external threats to park vegetation resources and to design appropriate restoration actions to mitigate these threats.
