Webinar organized by the National Association of Invasive Plant Councils, of which Cal-IPC is a member. PlayCleanGo started in Minnesota as an outreach campaign to recreationists, and has now gone national. It’s a great way to engage outdoorsfolk.

PlayCleanGo and You Can Change Public Behavior to Slow the Spread of Invasive Species

Join us for a webinar on Oct 11, 2018 at 3:00 PM EDT.

PlayCleanGo is an awareness campaign based on community based social marketing and social research to change public and worker behaviors at risk of spreading invasive species. The PlayCleanGo objective is to slow, and where possible, to stop the spread of invasive species. The message is simple: Play; Clean your gear; then Go to your next destination. PlayCleanGo promotes awareness, understanding, and cooperation by providing a clear call to action to be informed, attentive and accountable for stopping the spread of all invasive species. Any organization or agency with similar goals is invited to become a partner and incorporate PlayCleanGo graphic design and branded materials into their own materials. PlayCleanGo currently has 467 partners and over 11,000 social media followers. This webinar will discuss why PlayCleanGo works, how NAISMA is growing the campaign throughout North America, and how you can become a PlayCleanGo partner.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
