Position Open with UC California Naturalist!

The UC California Naturalist Program is hiring a new Community Education Specialist 2 in Los Angeles County, CA to work with partnering organizations and naturalists in Southern California. Our program helps train naturalists and prepare Californians to engage in environmental education, citizen science, and stewardship efforts. The ideal candidate for this staff position will be passionate about natural history, science education, and civic engagement. They will have experience in science communication and coordinating and supporting education or professional development programs, and have a track record of building diverse, equitable and inclusive partnerships. Direct experience with UC California Naturalist is highly desirable!
