Can I just have a show of hands for who could make the

26^th or 27^th October for training on Hurstwood (specifying which one)

NOTE: this area is NOT suitable for the level of training like I ran at Sale WP. The area is predominantly contour details with occasional paths (which may be of varying levels of visibility) – it is also moorland.

Put it this way, I probably won’t need to make a contour-only map as that is virtually all there is.

Exercises would be a variety to try and improve people’s understanding of contours and look at a few different techniques for accuracy.

If this date isn’t suitable for many then we can probably also find another w/e later in the year (but after that there’ll be ground nesting bird concerns)
