Hi all

The long wait is nearly over - its time to dust off the high-viz, sharpen your pencils and charge up the headlamp batteries in preparation for the new MDOC NSL season.

Once again, our teams are working hard to bring you another 8 league events followed by our traditional (?) Cup Final and Prizegiving finale. As ever, the areas chosen are a mixture of the previously used, partly extended and completely new. We have also included a couple of "Maprun" events in the league season, where you can use the technology of your smartphone to record your route and controls visited (and don't worry, a conventional paper-based backup will be available to all!).

The season kicks off with an event in Hazel Grove on Thursday 31st October, with the venue at  The Three Bears, Jacksons Lane, Hazel Grove, Stockport, SK7 5JH. 

Planner Sam Drinkwater has provided the following information: the pub has a medium sized carpark, there is private carpark next to it which is to be avoided, and there is on-street parking to the north when the carpark fills up.
