The Wythenshawe Park event is still planned to go ahead tomorrow (Saturday 14^th March 2020).

Register between 10.15 and 11.45. Starts 10.30 to 12.00. Courses close 13.15.

White, Yellow, Orange, Light Green and Long Light Green (6.5km) courses all within the park – so no age restriction on Long Light Green.

BOF have issued updated guidance today in relation to coronavirus; Covid-19 at https://www.britishorienteering.org.uk/news/5103

We would draw your attention to the following elements of the BOF guidance:

you must not come to any British Orienteering competition or activity if you fall into one of the following categories:

• If you have a high temperature
• If  you have a new continuous cough
• If you have been in Wuhan city or Hubei Province (China), Daegu or Cheongdo (Republic of Korea), Iran, or the containment areas in northern Italy on or after Saturday 7 March
• If you have been anywhere in Italy on or after Monday 9 March
• If you have been advised to stay at home by a health professional.

In addition, if attending you may wish to bring your own  hand sanitiser. Toilet facilities are located close to the registration with hand washing facilities.

Please can you also ensure you remove of any rubbish or waste you generate from the event site.  

We would note that the registration area is outside and there will be plenty of space for competitors to spread out before and after running their courses.
