Hi all

 

I’ve been able to get to Macc today for a first look at the areas we were discussing in the week. My initial feel for the Southern Area is it may not be quite as good as the Northern but still has potential. I did find in places that some of the paths are very narrow (one person width) .

 

It would look like the potential walk from the Leisure Centre to the Southern Area would be about 1.5km to/from.

 

Also there is a gate into Upton Park School in the SW as we thought.

 

I will reflect further on the options over the next week (and may get to see the other parts of the area I did not get to next weekend) with a view to a proposed area for mapping but in the interim I wonder if you can assist me with the following queries:

 

• Ian – I know you produced a map of lamppost locations for Offerton. Were they all identified and mapped specifically by you and John or is there somewhere where this data is generally available to access for Macc?
• Does anyone have a copy of the Fallibroome School map I can have a look at?
