Dear All,
At the Northern’s last weekend we heard the sad news of the death of Alistair. He died of liver cancer 5 weeks after diagnosis.
The Lessells family were active members of MDOC in the 80’s & our thoughts are with Katie, his wife & his children, Ruth & Richard.
They moved to Edinburgh where they were still active in all aspects of orienteering & they travelled to many events which enabled friendships from the days in MDOC to continue.
I’m sure quite a few of you will remember Alistair with great fondness as he always spoke kindly of his time as a member of MDOC.
