Dear club members,

MDOC has been approached with an urgent request for volunteer helpers at
this year's British Sprint Championships (Skelmersdale, Sunday 21st
August). Please could you let me know by this Friday (2nd July) if you
would be available to help.

The weekend coordinator, Norman Hall (DEE) is also looking for
volunteers who do not particularly want a run. Please indicate if this
could be you. As Norman points out, the more volunteers we have, the
less likely it is that people will need to give up a run. However, due
to the tight timetable for the day, with heats then final races, some
jobs may preclude helpers from actually running.

I hope many of you will step forward. Other clubs have come to our help
when we have had big events to organise, so hopefully we can reciprocate.
