The co-editors of Urban Library Journal
(ULJ) are pleased to announce the
publication of the latest issue: Library
Services to Special Populations. It
explores how libraries and librarians,
both academic and public, are reaching out
to users who may be underserved.

Included  in this issue are articles on
library services to homeless families,
children with special needs, and visually
and hearing impaired students. Many of the
articles are very timely in light of the
current economic situation and provide
guidance for offering services at a time
when they are most needed. The latest
issue of ULJ can be accessed here:
http://lacuny.cuny.edu/ulj/

Urban Library Journal is an open access,
refereed journal. It is no longer offered
in print.

The editors would like to give special
thanks to Monica Berger, ULJ Webmaster.

co-editors, Urban Library Journal
