We have been experiencing a lot of frustration and general difficulty
in accessing the full text online journal subscriptions that we have
available through our Ovid database subscriptions -- Ovid Nursing Full
Text, PsycARTICLES and Journals@Ovid. Has any one else out there had
(have) these problems? Have you encountered or developed any solutions
to this problem?
Last night I tried to access the journal: American Journal of
Nursing (AJN) at home and even with a DSL line and a computer
loaded with memory I had to wait "forever" to even get into OvidSP, and
then wait forever again to get an article to load. We are accessing
through a proxy server using EZProxy and then going through Serials
Solutions to get to our journal links.
Thanks again for any advice, wisdom, empathy you would care to share
with me!
