Better Ways to Browse: Print/Grid Views

1. ACS on Campus: Purdue takes place November 15-16, 2010 at Purdue
University in West Lafayette, Indiana. ACS on Campus: Chicago hosted by
Northwestern University will take place November 18-19, 2010. Sessions will
address issues in Scholarly Communication and Alternative Careers in
Chemistry. If you would like to attend or learn more about the program,
please view the agendas and RSVP at http://pubs.acs.org/r/acsoc

2. Congratulations to Lisa Rose-Wiles, Science Librarian at Seton Hall
University, and the 2010 ACS Publications Charleston Scholarship winner.
Lisa's winning submission was an open letter in response to the following
scenario: The University Librarian is a musicologist and wants to cut
science budgets to allow for more humanities resources. What does a science
librarian do? Read her winning open letter here:
http://pubs.acs.org/page/4librarians/charleston-scholarship.html

3. C&EN Archives Free Access -- Academic customers with the complete ACS Web
Editions package will have free access to the new C&EN Archives from
November 4 - December 31, 2010. The new high-res PDF pages of C&EN (from
1923-2009) are fully integrated with ACS book and journals on the ACS Web
Editions Platform. Test drive this new product at
http://pubs.acs.org/cen-archives

Note: A system-generated email was sent to the administrator account for
ACS¹ All Publications customers, indicating the addition of C&EN Archives to
your subscribed content. This confirms your access through the trial
period, but does not reflect any decisions to add access to C&EN Archives
past December 31 2010. For more details on adding C&EN Archives access at
your institution in 2011 please email LibraryRelations@acs.org

4. Questions about ACS Combinatorial Chemistry (formerly the Journal of
Combinatorial Chemistry)? - Name/scope changes to journals can be confusing.
Read our FAQs on the Librarian Resource Center regarding the relaunch of
this existing ACS journal:
http://pubs.acs.org/page/4librarians/acscs/faq.html

5. Chemical & Engineering News launches second news channel, Analytical
SCENE -- Analytical SCENE is a stream of articles about analytical research
and business containing content from C&EN as well as original reporting.
Read more here: http://pubs.acs.org/cen/analytical/

6. Better ways to browse -- PRINT AND GRID VIEW
In addition to the traditional list view of Journal Table of Contents, Book

*** This message has been cross posted. Apologies for the duplication. ***

I am pleased to announce that the Physics World Archive is now available to all
IOPscience extra subscribers at no additional cost. This valuable archive contains
more than 11,000 news items, feature articles, comments and reviews dating back to 1988.

"Physics World has long been the flagship magazine for the Institute of Physics," said
Tony O’Rourke, Assistant Director at IOP Publishing. "The inclusion of the Physics
World Archive adds another important dimension to IOPscience extra. It demonstrates
our commitment to strengthening and increasing the value for users of our premium
package through additional content streams."

The Physics World Archive covers physics in its broadest possible sense, and offers
real insight into the key breakthroughs in the field over the last 22 years. There
is something for everyone with an interest in the physical sciences.

For more information about IOPscience extra, please visit iopscience.iop.org/extra
or contact your regional representative.

Thank you for your continued support of IOP Publishing,
Sharice
