1. ACS on Campus: Purdue takes place November 15-16, 2010 at Purdue
University in West Lafayette, Indiana. ACS on Campus: Chicago hosted by
Northwestern University will take place November 18-19, 2010. Sessions will
address issues in Scholarly Communication and Alternative Careers in
Chemistry. If you would like to attend or learn more about the program,

2. Congratulations to Lisa Rose-Wiles, Science Librarian at Seton Hall
University, and the 2010 ACS Publications Charleston Scholarship winner.
Lisa's winning submission was an open letter in response to the following

3. C&EN Archives Free Access -- Academic customers with the complete ACS Web
Editions package will have free access to the new C&EN Archives from
November 4 - December 31, 2010. The new high-res PDF pages of C&EN (from
1923-2009) are fully integrated with ACS book and journals on the ACS Web
Editions Platform. Test drive this new product at
