As more resources are indexed online and as more researchers begin their quest in a digital environment, unique local collections and institutional repositories play an ever more important role. The development of standards for these materials and ensuring their long-term preservation is crucial.

Marie-Elise Waltz of CRL on “Auditing Digital Repositories, The TDR Checklist, and ISO 16363.”

 

Melanie Wacker will present “Cataloging Unique Collections with RDA and Non-MARC Standards.”  Learn about the RDA testing experiences with mainly non-print resources at Columbia University.

 

Gary Van Overborg of Scholarly iQ will discuss “The PIRUS Project: Objectives, Outcomes, and Next Steps.” Discover how the PIRUS2 project (Publisher and Institutional Repository Usage Statistics) is enabling the recording and reporting of articles hosted by aggregators or in repositories.
