We’ve recently noticed a problem in our bib and PAC display,  Although years of item records were migrated over, they are not displayed in the 999 field Polaris puts at the end of the bib record.  (This 999 field only shows up in the PAC view of the Bib record when you click on the “Librarian’s view”.  This field does not allow changes.)  Has anyone solved this problem?

An example:  We have Farm Journal starting with v.129 no.  1;  2005, but the PAC displays our holdings as v. 132 no. 9 (Oct. 2008)-v. 136 no. 1 (Jan. 2012).  Although, the older items are displayed in the “Item Availability” field in PAC, they are not reflected in the “Local Availability” statement.

The only solution we can come up with, is to delete all the old items and re-receive them in Polaris.  This, of course, is not an option because we don’t have people just sitting around waiting for something to do.

Any and all help will be appreciated,
