I'm writing from Springfield Tech. Community College in Spfld, MA. We have used the claiming feature in millennium for at least 5 or 6 years. It works beautifully. There is still a fair amount of maintenance that you do on your end re: ebsco claiming cleanup, but that you can do as much or as little as you want to do.

Our local system (we are part of a huge consortium) did the ftp set up for us. I don't remember that it was hard to do. Ebsco is experienced with this so they should be able to give you substantial help.

We are moving from Innovative to Evergreen in a month or so and Evergreen serials does not have a claiming function yet and there are many of us upset with this!
